Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Saturday 3.00pm
The Eagles will check on the fitness of James McArthur and Scott Dann before naming their side to face Spurs on Saturday at 3pm.
Martin Kelly and Connor Wickham are both side lined.
Tottenham's record signing Ndombele was back in training this week after a thigh problem and will hope to start.
Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) is available alongside Eric Dier (hip) and Kyle Walker-Peters (hamstring), but Davinson Sanchez is a doubt with an ankle injury.
Giovani Lo Celso (hip) and Juan Foyth (ankle) are both sidelined.
Roy Hodgson
“The defensive record has been pretty good, the problem is at the other end and scoring goals,”
“We haven’t scored as many as we would have liked. But keeping clean sheets is important and we must work hard to get in shape and keep our shape.
“If a game becomes open and (it is) who will score the most goals, we might not always come out on top.”
Speaking about what threat Tottenham will pose at the weekend he said: “It is never a good time (to play them) – they are one of the best teams in the country,”
“They will have a strong team, we are confident with the start we have had, and it is a question of what happens on the day. I am not sure it is ever a good time to play anyone.”
Mauricio Pochettino
"I think it’s going to be a tough game," he said. "They [Palace] showed that they are a strong team. It’s a team that it’s difficult to create chances [against]. It’s a team that beat Manchester United away from home. We know very well that it’s going to be a tough game.
"Every game is different, every single time is different and the reality is going to be difficult than Newcastle.
"I hope we change the result and we play better than Newcastle. We know very well that we need to improve in our performance. I think from now, we need to start winning games and to be in a good position in the table."
