Crystal Palace exited the FA Cup at the quarter-final stage after a 2-1 defeat at Watford.
The Eagles suffered a third defeat against Watford this season and miss out on a cup semi final at Wembley.
Etienne Capoue blasted the home team ahead on 27 minutes after Palace failed to clear a corner.
Then on 62 minutes, Michy Batshuayi equalised for the Eagles, with a smart finish after dispossessing defender Adrian Mariappa.
However, second-half substitute Andre Gray netted two minutes after coming on to send Watford into the FA Cup semis.
Watford: Gomes, Mariappa, Feminia, Cathcart, Holebas (Masina 45), Hughes (Gray 77), Doucoure, Capoue, Pereyra, Deulofeu (Cleverley 89), Deeney.
Not used: Dahlberg, Kabasele, Janmaat, Success.
Palace: Guaita, Schlupp, Kelly, Tomkins, Wan-Bissaka, Milivojevic, Kouyate, Townsend, Meyer, McArthur (Benteke 83), Batshuayi.
Not used: Hennessey, Woods, Ward, Riedewald, Wickham, Ayew.
