Crystal Palace claimed a hard-earned away point after a 1-1 draw against Southampton.
They managed to survive the final few minutes with 10 minute after Wilfried Zaha got a needless double yellow for lashing out and then mocking referee Andre Marriner.
Zaha fired Palace into the lead with a low shot past Alex McCarthy four minutes before the break for his first goal since September.
The Londoners failed to make their dominance count with Mamadou Sakho missing two decent chances.
In the 77th minute, James Ward-Prowse netted Matt Targett's low cross to earn Saints a share of the spoils.
Two minutes from time, Zaha was dismissed after reacting badly to a challenge by Ward-Prowse and was shown two successive yellow cards and given his marching orders.
The result leaves both teams just four points above the Premier League relegation zone.
