Selhurst Park, Sunday 1.30pm
Midfielder Max Meyer and striker Alexander Sorloth have both recovered from a virus and are ready for selection, along with Connor Wickham (knee) who made his first appearance in almost two years last week.
Wales midfielder Jonny Williams is out with a muscular injury, defender Scott Dann (knee) is still getting match fitness and Christian Benteke is recovering from his knee operation.
Arsenal pair Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac are doubts with hamstring problems but Petr Cech is now available after recovering from the same injury.
Roy Hodgson
"I've been pretty disappointed after several of the defeats because they've all tended to come in the same way. They've come at a time where we thought we had enough control over the game and had played well enough to get points from it.
"They've been tough but that's what football does from time to time. The only positive we can take is that we aren't being outplayed.
"We have probably deserved more than we actually got and the quality of our play for large periods of games has been quite good. But it's points you need.
"Of course it's a concern [not scoring enough] but there isn't much more you can do about it except keep working, keep trying to create goal chances and hope some of them go in.
"We've not been a team that has spurned many penalty opportunities, for example, but we spurned one the other day [against Everton]. Unfortunately when you get into the type of run that we find ourselves in, that's the sort of thing that happens.
"But the players know what is required, they know they have got the ability and wherewithal to score the goals. All we can do until those goals go in is keep trying, and accept that every time we don't score it is going to add to the ballast of games where goals haven't been scored."
"It's not easy for [Arsenal] to come to Selhurst and beat Crystal Palace, it's not easy for anyone. This season, as I said, some of [the opponents] had a lot of luck to come out of our stadium with three points.
"It won't be easy for them as it won't be easy for us, we're expecting one very tough game. They have a very good squad, a very, very good manager in my opinion and they play nice football.
"But, as I said, at Selhurst, in front of our fans with that atmosphere, Sunday will not be easy for them. 100 per cent."
"We are not comparing against last season as we feel we are a lot better team now and the manager has got us playing in a better way. We look more solid than last year, even though we have conceded some late goals and know that the players we have in our changing room we should be doing better.
"We know we have some tough games coming up but sometimes we bounce back when no one expects us to so hopefully we can do that in the coming weeks."
Unai Emery
"When I was in France and in Spain, I would sometimes watch the Premier League and Crystal Palace is a team that doesn’t have a lot of big names in it, like the best teams in the Premier League.
"But they have very good players and produce very good performances. You watch it and say, ‘These players are very good and they have a very big level to play against the best teams’.
"Now I am here and I am watching, and I know that Crystal Palace is a very good team with very good players, with a very good coach and a lot of experience in the Premier League. For us, the respect is very big.
"I think they deserve more points in the Premier League and they deserve to be higher in the table, and for us it’s about having the respect and then preparing well for this match if we are to beat them."
