Selhurst Park, Saturday 3.00pm
Palace manager Roy Hodgson remains tight lipped about whether centre back James Tomkins is fit enough for Saturday's game.
Tomkins suffered a calf injury before Palace's match at Watford last week and had to be replaced at the last moment by Martin Kelly.
Right back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who is celebrating a call-up to the England U21 squad, is set to come back into the side after serving a one-match ban.
Southampton forward Danny Ings faces a fitness test after suffering with a foot problem. Midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is available after serving his suspension.
Roy Hodgson
"We have not been disappointed. It has not been an easy start with Fulham away, Liverpool at home and Watford away, but we don’t think our performances have dropped particularly in those three games.
"We won that first one, and I am not sure the performance was necessarily the best one, but that was nicest to win the game.
"But the other two performances have had good moments. We don't feel we are lacking any confidence, but we certainly aren't suffering from a surfeit of confidence either, because we know how difficult it is to get wins in this league, with how organised opponents are in this league and the talented players they have.
"We are always going to come across a team with enormous motivation, and we have to make sure that our motivation matches theirs. We take nothing for granted, but we are not disappointed particularly with our start, but it wouldn’t have been totally amiss if we had a couple more points."
Mark Hughes
"[Palace] are a very good side. Roy’s been there a decent amount of time and you start to see his imprint and mark on the team. Roy’s teams will always be very disciplined and well drilled, and he sprinkles good talent within the structure of what he wants. It’s a good mix and a well-balanced team.
"[Wilfried Zaha] looks comfortable in his surroundings. It’s difficult to stop him in full flight, because he has that technical ability. I think the key is stopping him getting the ball in the first place, but then when he is in possession you’ve just got to try to keep him away from the danger areas."
