Team news

Roy Hodgson is set to play Mamadou Sakho and Pape Souare against the Terriers, as he looks to secure his first win as Palace boss.

Souare's last competitive match for the Eagles was a 1-1 draw against Bournemouth on 7th August 2016. He suffered a serious car accident just over a year ago, and has made a remarkable recovery to full fitness.

It will be Sakho's first game for the Eagles since signing permanently on the last day of the transfer window.

Huddersfield midfielder Jonathan Hogg could make his first start this season.

Defender Martin Cranie (hip) and striker Steve Mounie (heel) are doubts while forward Kasey Palmer (hamstring) is out.
