Anfield, Saturday 3.00pm
Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is out of the game after sustaining a knee injury against Huddersfield who gave him rough treatment during the opening day defeat.
Midfield duo Yohan Cabaye (ankle) and James McArthur (leg) are both now available and could feature. Pape Souare (hip and leg) and Connor Wickham (knee) are still on the comeback trail, while Bakary Sako (leg) is not fully match fit.
Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is set to return for the Reds after recovering from a thigh problem suffered in pre-season.
Playmaker Philippe Coutinho (back), full-back Nathaniel Clyne (hamstring) and midfielder Adam Lallana (thigh) are all missing.

Roy Hodgson
"We are going to be without Wilfried Zaha for this match which is very disappointing news for everyone connected with Crystal Palace. He is a very important player for our team but that’s where we are at and we have to deal with it and that is what we will do.
"It is very hard to put a length of time on how long he will be missing but he is a very robust player so we will have to wait and see how it goes but to put a time span on it is difficult.
"Wilf is a player who will be looking to get back fit as soon as possible and even when he got the injury last week he still played on and completed the 90 minutes, having played for 20 or 30 minutes with the injury and that shows his physical ability.
"We certainly don’t want to be forcing him back too soon because we need him for the whole season once he is fit to return."
Jurgen Klopp
"Of course we saw the match and we saw the pre-season games of Crystal Palace, not just our match against them (in Asia) but all we could get. I have spoken to him [Wagner], of course. He said force them to make an own goal after a few minutes!
"The analysis will happen now and even if I could get each tip or advice from him, I didn't ask because it will be a different game, of course. That's what we are thinking about.
"There are things to improve and it's always like this. But even then we could've won which I think everybody knows.
"For Crystal Palace it was a little bit different. They want to strike back I'm sure but again it's Anfield. Probably both teams were not overly happy with last week. We were not really disappointed about our first game but it was how a first game can be."
