St Mary's Stadium, Wednesday 7.45pm
Crystal Palace will be missing centre backs Scott Dann (knee ligaments) and James Tomkins (calf) after both got injured during Saturday's victory at Chelsea.
Club captain Dann is set to miss the rest of the season and either Martin Kelly or Damien Delaney will step in alongside Mamadou Sakho at the heart of the defence.
Left-back Patrick van Aanholt (ankle) is still out. However, on-loan Chelsea striker Loic Remy returns to the squad after getting match fit again following a recent knock.
Southampton midfielder Sofiane Boufal is doubtful of playing due to a leg muscle problem suffered in training, while Manolo Gabbiadini is still missing due to a groin injury. Defender Martin Caceres is match fit and could make his Saints debut.

Roy Hodgson
"My experience has been at Palace, Blackburn, Bolton, when they have pulled off a big one, it's always hard to win the next one. And my challenge to the players is 'Can you go out again and do it again.
"When we have beaten one of the big three or four it's always hard to get up for the game after. And because this game is in the week, and not the week after, it's harder and I'm going to try to explain to the players (in training) the need for the same desire and commitment they showed on Saturday.
"But it's a buoyant mood. It's a much better place of work now. The doom and gloom is lifting slightly but we have still a way to go to make sure we don't waste this result. We have achieved one of the shocks of this season and we have to make sure we don't waste it."
Claude Puel
"I think we have improved since the beginning of the season. Many players can score in the team, sometimes for the first time, and I said it's important all of the players in the team can score - not just the strikers. It's important to continue this work.
"Of course, (Steven) Davis, (James) Ward-Prowse, (Nathan) Redmond, different players - defenders in set-pieces - can score. It's important to create danger with many opportunities with different players."
