New Crystal Palace signings Mamadou Sakho and Luka Milivojevic are both in the squad and available for selection.

Stoke City winger Xherdan Shaqiri (calf) and defender Glen Johnson (Achilles) are sidelined still. Ramadan Sobhi is on contention for a recall, but Jack Butland (ankle), Stephen Ireland (broken leg) and Geoff Cameron, Jonathan Walters (both knee) are all out.

Roy Hodgson
"By the end of Sunday morning it was all clear what we’d been through and how we’d let ourselves down. We have got to take it on the chin and bounce back and show some fighting spirit.
"Luka has trained but not much here. He got back on Wednesday after sorting out his visa. He did a training programme at home. Some new players will play, but certainly all are in the squad."
Mark Hughes
"We've come off a good run but we were beaten last weekend so it's up to us to go on another run.
"You would imagine, without a doubt, that there will be a reaction from Palace. It was probably the worst result for us last week because Palace will be better and they will make changes. It's difficult to know which way they will go.
"Everyone assumes, and rightly so in my view, that if you are in a bit of trouble then Sam is your man to get you out. Everyone is willing to accept that and you sense there will be a reaction, hopefully after we've played them."
