Roy Hodgson
"We've scored ten goals in three games but obviously we need to tighten up at the back. Perhaps the Southampton game was a benchmark in terms of a defensive display and we need to reproduce that against a Man United team that has found a bit of form.
"The defenders who are here have been the defenders for the last three years, it's not like there's anyone new in there – they have done a brilliant job in the past.
"Sometimes it's a bit of confidence and luck here and there. Of course, defending is a team duty, never more so than now in the Premier League, everyone has a responsibility to defend, even substitutes.
"That's a little area we're looking to improve on. Sometimes our substitutes have come on and not shored us up as well as they should have. We have to find solutions. It's easy to say someone or something is wrong.
"We were pleased with the way we defended set-pieces against Southampton, so we have crossed one box and now we need to get back to how we performed again in that game."
