Goodison Park, Friday 8.00pm
Crystal Palace made it a lovely three league wins out of three after a sensational comeback victory at lowly Sunderland last weekend.
It's a much trickier prospect this time around with Ronald Koeman's Everton flying at the top end of the Premier League table.
The Toffees suffered a first defeat of the campaign away to Bournemouth to illustrate they do have a soft centre after all.
Two of the last three meetings at Goodison Park have ended 3-2 to Palace and SkyBet wil give you a 50/1 price for the same scoreline.
Both of last season's games ended in draws, and there's been three draws in their last six meetings, so get stuck into the draw at 3/1 with bet365.
The Eagles have netted just one goal in their last three fixtures in the blue side of Liverpool, so I fancy under 2.5 goals at 11/10 with Paddy Power.
Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has scored in three of the last four match-ups and is 4/1 with Paddy Power to net the first goal.
Meanwhile, his Belgian rival Christian Benteke is a good bet at 7/1 to net in a successive games and grab the first goal with bet365.
Palace winger Wilfried Zaha makes a return to the squad after recovering from a slight hamstring strain that forced him out of last week's win at Sunderland.
Eagles captain Scott Dann is doubtful of making the match due to his hamstring injury. Striker Jonathan Benteke is set to miss the next four months with a knee injury sustained in training.
Everton forward Romelu Lukaku will start for his side despite a toe problem. While defender Leighton Baines is still out with a hamstring injury, along with James McCarthy.
Roy Hodgson
“I love Yala [Yannick Bolasie] but I just hope he doesn’t have one of his super-duper games that he can have. Of course he’ll be looking to impress but he has nothing to prove to us or our fans.
"Our fans still love him. I suppose we do know everything about him. On his day he can be undefendable at times and he goes from nought to five yards as fast as any player I have ever worked with. But that is not to say we can’t deal with him. We hope to.”
Ronald Koeman
"You learn every day about players, about wins and about defeats. We want a reaction but one defeat [v Bournemouth] in six is not bad. Win and we are second in the table, more than anyone expected.
“Yannick is always very committed to the team, to his team‑mates, and working hard. For him it’s a special game to play against his old team but [I will tell him to] do his job; don’t do things differently. That’s my advice to Yannick.
"We knew what type of player he is, that is why we signed the player. He can create a lot of problems to opponents with his pace and physicality, which brings something different to the team.”
