St Mary's Stadium, Sunday 3.00pm
Goalie Julian Speroni will don the gloves as he bids to equal John Jackson's goalkeeper club record of 388 appearances.
Midfielder Joe Ledley (leg) and winger Wilfried Zaha (hamstring) both miss the trip to the south coast with Zaha having a chance of making next week's FA Cup final.
Yohan Cabaye has a knock, while young winger Sullay Kaikai could feature after being recalled from his impressive loan stint at Shrewsbury Town.
Southampton midfielder Jordy Clasie is out with a groin injury. Striker Graziano Pelle could starts after coming on as a substitute at the weekend.
Roy Hodgson
"My selections could be whether the club can move up the Premier League table. Whether we can gain a league place could influence me. If we couldn't gain a place and we were safe, then that team might be one where I rest five or six players, I'm not going to make no bones about that.
"There are still players here good enough to get a result at Southampton, though. After the win against Stoke, it was job done and we can now focus more on the FA Cup."
Ronald Koeman
"Six wins out of the last eight make it special and it will be even more special if we get the three points on Sunday. What happens anywhere else is not our problem – we hope [for results to go our way], but we have to first do it by ourselves.
"Europe is very special. The fans deserve it, the players deserve it. It’s always a good experience for players to play in Europe, and it’s a good opportunity to deal with the Europa League and the Premier League."
"We know we've got to prepare for this very tough game against Crystal Palace and we have to make sure we finish the job.
"We're still in the fight and, if we win against Crystal Palace, I think we have a good chance to finish in sixth, so that would be massive for us.
"We have the same points as last season and we have the opportunity to even better that, so it's a great season."
