Roy Hodgson
"I don't think it could have gone much better really. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time here and I've enjoyed working with Steve Parish in particular.
"It's given me more power in the transfer market to try to build the team around the vision that I have and I hope that continues. We just want to really push on in this second half of the season and if we can match the first half, I would be delighted."
"It suits our game playing away from home, especially with the pace we have in the team, and the way we defend our box makes it hard for teams to break us down.
"I know the weather will be a factor but it's just like any other game, and if we set our stall out the way we've been working on all week hopefully we can get the result.
"Stoke have got a great squad and I'm sure they'll do well this season. They've recently come on really strong and will be looking to continue that in the second half of the season.
"From tenth place onwards every team will be looking to reach that Europa League spot and I think it's anyone's for the taking - I just hope come May it'll be us who takes it."
Mark Hughes
"There's no coincidence to their [Palace's] record. With the team and the weapons they have, it lends itself better to playing away.
"They can soak up pressure, which they are very good at, and then they have pace and a real threat going the other way. We need to be vigilant and make sure we don't over-commit. We have to be in the majority and not the minority when they look to break.
"We're now ahead of where we thought we'd be. That's encouraging considering we didn't win any of the first six games."
