Crystal Palace draw their second match of the Premier League season, with the score ending 1-1 against Everton at Goodison Park.

Alan Pardew made one forced change to the Palace lineup which hammered Newcastle last month, with Wilfried Zaha being suspended, Mile Jedinak came into midfield for his first start of the season.

Romelu Lukaku, playing his 100th game for the Toffees almost put the home side ahead early on, but his curling shot hit the post.

Connor Wickham had Palace's best chance in the first half with a point blank range header, from a Yannick Bolasie cross, which was well blocked by Tim Howard in the Everton goal.

In the second half, Palace should have had a penalty when Gareth Barry pulled Jedinak's shirt in the box but referee Craig Pawson failed to see the incident.

However, the Eagles took the lead on 76 minutes through Scott Dann who scored yet another header from a corner.

Sadly Palace couldn't hold onto the lead for more than five minutes - Lukaku scoring his 50th goal for Everton with a tap-in in the six yard box.

Towards the end of the game Palace were denied another potential penalty when Jordon Mutch, on as a second half substitute, was set through on goal by Bolasie and looked to be fouled right on the line of the 18 yard box, but neither Pawson or his assistant saw it as a foul.

The game ended in a 1-1 draw and put Palace back into 6th place in the Premier League on goal difference. The Eagles' next game is a home tie against Southampton on the 12th December.
