Selhurst Park, Saturday 3.00pm
To Palace fans' delight, or maybe not, Kevin Miller is available for Saturday's game, however manager Nigel Spackman could well stick with recent choice Andy Marriot.
Fatboy Miller served his one match ban last week however on Tuesday night's game against Millwall he only made the bench, with Spackman deciding to play Marriot, who only made his full debut for Barnsley last Saturday against Crewe, instead.
Miller aside, the Barnsley manager will also have to make a few other choices. Kevin Gallen is recovering from a hamstring injury and is hoping to be fit in time for the game against Palace. However he will probably only make the bench, as ex Palace man Bruce Dyer and Mike Sheron are likely to start up front.
Lee Crooks, who picked up a groin strain during Tuesday's game against Millwall, is unlikely to be in the starting line up, which could mean a recall for captain Steve Chettle.
Four players who will definitely not make the trip down to South London are Carl Barrowclough, Steve Hayward, Kevin Dixon, and Paul Bernard, who are all outwith long-term injuries.
The Eagles go into the game fresh off the 5-0 battering of Grimsby Town which sawthe first Palace clean sheet of the season.
American defender Gregg Berhalter is still injured and will be out of the side for a month or so with a broken jaw which he suffered during the Worthington Cup tie against Everton.
Another player whowill not feature is Tommy Black. The ex Arsenal player is suspended for one game after picking up a red card at Portsmouth last week.
David Hopkin might come onto the bench following serious ankle ligament damage picked up in the opening game of the season against Rotherham.
One player who could well make his debut is Steve Vickers. The veteran defender has signed a one-month loan agreement and is likely to replace Dean Austin in the starting eleven.

Bruce Dyer, Fat Boy Miller
Due to possible relegation to the bench for Fat Boy Miller, who always plays a blinder against us, former Palace forward Bruce Dyer is Barnsley's star man against us. A player who is always all or nothing, Bruce can score some superb goals and the next minute miss an open goal, but he is a handful, and his unorthodox running style (waving his arms about and running in a zig zag) could cause problems on Saturday!
