Amex Community Stadium, Monday 7.45pm
Crystal Palace will be without 30-goal striker Glenn Murray after he suffered possible knee ligament damage in the semi-final first leg tie against Brighton on Friday. Aaron Wilbraham is likely to replace the division's top scorer with Kevin Phillips remaining on the bench.
Jon Williams was substituted with cramp in the previous match but should be fit to play. Stephen Dobbie is ineligible to play against his parent club Brighton. However, the Scot has signed a new contract with the Eagles for next season. Jonathan Parr (ankle) and Paddy McCarthy (groin) are both out.
Forward Aruna Dindane has left the club without playing a game after failing to prove his fitness.
Brighton have no new injury worries. Striker Craig Mackail-Smith is still sidelined (Achilles), while fellow forward George Barker is not in the squad due to appearing in a court case. Will Hoskins (knee) and Bruno (calf) are also missing.
Roy Hodgson
"Now we have to go there and they will have to watch us because we aren't bad at counter-attacking. Obviously we will have to stop them at their own ground, but this is where the pressure happens, this is where it all starts building.
"It only takes one thing from us and that could upset everything. They had the best chance in the first half but in the second half we gained in confidence and did not look bad at all.
"Let's see if we can reproduce that at their place. We'll have to wait and see but it's a fantastic opportunity for us, we have to do better than we did at their ground last time."
"I've been here for so many years but bringing Palace up to the Premier League would be the best thing ever. It's a hard place to win but we will do the best we can and see what happens. We did the best we can and we just have to go over there and try and win it."
“In the first league game we hammered them. When we played there they beat us but it means nothing in the play-offs as it is a level playing field. People might say they are favourites as they are in better form.
“But how many times do you see a team in sixth go up or a team get beaten twice in the season and then win when it matters? Playing two games in quick succession probably makes it more tactical.”
Gus Poyet
"I'm not going to hide. Now we are at home it's maybe 60-40 for us. If you asked me before the whole 47 games, going into the second leg at 0-0 playing at home next, I would have taken it. It's a final, we need to make the home advantage count now."
