Amex Community Stadium, Sunday 12.00pm
Crystal Palace will be without striker Stephen Dobbie whose loan deal stipulates he is unable to play against his parent club. Kevin Phillips or Andre Moritz will come in to replace him. Jermaine Easter has joined Millwall on loan.
Right-back Jazz Richards is available after recovering from a toe injury. However, defenders Paddy McCarthy and Joel Ward (both groin) and midfielder Owen Garvan (knee), plus forward Alex Nimely (hamstring) are still missing.
Brighton centre-half Adam El-Abd is suspended after picking up 10 yellow cards this season, so Gordon Greer will come in. Meanwhile, full-backs Bruno (calf) and Wayne Bridge (hamstring) are doubts so Inigo Calderon and Marcos Painter are standing by.
Strikers Craig Mackail-Smith (Achilles) and Will Hoskins (knee) are sidelined and Ashley Barnes is suspended so Leonardo Ulloa is Albion's only recognised forward.
Roy Hodgson
"It's just our next game. However you cut it, that's the truth of it. Obviously it will be fantastic to go to Brighton, who have a great ground now. They were one of the most harshly treated clubs ever and they've made a fantastic recovery, they've got bright owners and a bright manager.
"I'll be proud to take my team there, they played really well in the first game and it's now about trying to secure a result. I'm sure both sets of fans will look forward to it, and there will be bragging rights for whoever is successful, and I want that to be us.
"We're going to have to be on our game because it's a derby match and you've got to take the emotion out of it so we do our job and are professional.
"Hopefully it'll be tough for their defenders to stop Glenn Murray. To me you're going there to play football and part of that is ignoring what everybody says and doing your job. Can I get him to concentrate on what I want him to do? I think the answer's yes.
"It'll probably affect him if we win or lose but it's just a game of football. Glenn has had such a wonderful season that I'd love it to carry on. He's got 30 goals now, and 29 league goals, so I want him to get past the barrier of 30 league goals. Can he do it on the weekend, I hope so."
Gus Poyet
"Ian Holloway likes to play many, many forwards. You need to manage that situation and take advantage of their weaknesses. You need to be smart, organised and take your chances.
"They have been winning games in the last two or three weeks and not totally deserving to win. "Their keeper [Julian] Speroni has been outstanding and has been one of their key players, and we know Glenn Murray has been scoring for fun.
"They have key players that you need to try [and make sure] they don't have the best of days. It was always the biggest game because it is the one the fans need to win and enjoy and the one they demand the players win.
"At any time of the season it is important. I want a normal game - I don't want another one like at Palace when we were down to 10 men. No hard decisions from the referee, no mistakes - just a normal football game.
"Then you can win, draw or lose, but we will do everything possible to win the game as we need the three points and we are playing against Palace."
