Selhurst Park, Saturday 3.00pm
Boss Ian Holloway said he might rest top scorer Glenn Murray with Stephen Dobbie, Aaron Wilbraham, Jermaine Easter and Kevin Phillips in contention to replace him. Winger Yannick Bolasie could come in for Jon Williams to give the young Welsh star a break.
On-loan Swansea defender Jazz Richards will be checked on after missing the midweek win over Hull with a toe injury. Midfielder Kagisho Dikgacoi can fill in at right-back if required.
Brazilian Andre Moritz returned to the bench against Hull after recovering from an ankle injury ahead of schedule. But defenders Paddy McCarthy and Joel Ward (both groin) and midfielders Owen Garvan (knee) plus Alex Nimely (hamstring) are still on the treatment table.
Leeds boss Neil Warnock is set to name an unchanged side for the fifth straight game.
He said: "The way we're playing at the moment I'd like to go unchanged for the rest of the season. There's nothing new injury-wise after the other night. We did have a few knocks and what have you before the game at Leicester, but the players came through it ok."
Roy Hodgson
“We managed to get through a rocky period and we’ve got what we need here provided we keep our focus. You have to stand there and believe, firstly that you’re good enough but also that everything you do is of a Premier League standard to get there. You can’t just hope – you have to believe.
“I want this group to emulate my Blackpool group (who won promotion in 2010). We won eight out of our last 10 games when it looked like all was lost but we got our minds right. I’ve got better resources here.
“I might have to seriously think about resting Glenn Murray. Is Glenn looking a bit tired? Is he a little jaded? Aaron Wilbraham is breathing down his neck.
“I’m not saying I will (drop him) but I’m saying I have to think about that. Two or three weeks ago we had injuries and it was impossible to think about it. Now it’s not. That’s a good thing.
“Glenn’s a natural goalscorer but there’s physical and mental tiredness. You don’t feel the mental side when you’re scoring but I saw his body language after he missed that penalty. Luckily for me, Kevin Phillips was there to step in.
"Neil Warnock has been an inspiration to me. But sometimes on the line me and him do clash a little bit.”
Neil Warnock
"We are looking forward to it; it is a great atmosphere at Selhurst Park. It actually gave me the love back after what happened at Sheffield United and come back into football.
"Simon Jordan and the fans were brilliant with me and I really enjoyed my spell there. I am looking forward to going back and I was pleased they won the other night. I do hope they go up, it is a club close to my heart but we will be going there doing our best to get a result.
“I’ve admired Kevin Phillips for many years. I first came up against him at Bury and thought ‘he can’t run.’ And he can’t run. But his mind makes him five yards faster than any sprinter and his finishing and attitude are unbelievable.
“He’s changed my whole idea of older players. In the modern game, to have Ryan Giggs on 1,000 games and Kevin Phillips still playing at 39 is an amazing achievement.
“With the level of fitness required nowadays to play at Championship and Premier League level, I don’t think anyone realises what you have to put your body through.”
