Brisbane Road, Tuesday 7.45pm
Although this game on paper should be relatively easy it will be interesting to see how the Eagles cope without the rock of the defence Fan Zhiyi who played his last game for three months on Saturday. Gregg Berhalter should easily slot into the centre of defence after coming on as a second half substitute against Stockport, however Dean Austin's poor performance could make Steve Bruce chose to go for a change of formation.
David Hopkin is out for three weeks with an ankle injury and so will also miss the Worthington Cup first round tie.
New signing Jovan Kirovski, who didn't even make the bench against Stockport, could return to the side for Tuesday night's clash, although it is hard to see Bruce dropping the in form strike partnership of Freedman and Morrison.
Third Division London side Leyton Orient are the opposition on Tuesday night. Boss Tommy Taylor was unhappy after his side could only manage a goal less draw at home to Carlisle on Saturday, however he will be hoping for a better performance against Palace.
Orient will be boosted by the return of highly rated summer signing Gary Fletcher who came on as a 58th minute sub on Saturday. Palace fans will be keeping an eye on promising youngster Matt Lockwood who has recently been offered a new contract by the O's after they rejected a £150,000 bid from Millwall.

Matt Lockwood
Matt Lockwood - 1 goals
Downer/Minton/Tate - 1 0
The highly sought after defender is regarded as one of the brightest talents outside the top two divisions, with Millwall's interest proving this. Lethal going forward, especially on set pieces, Matt Lockwood is the one to watch especially if a Orient get a free-kick near the area!
