Team news

Crystal Palace midfielder Mile Jedinak returns to the side after sitting out the last game through suspension. Jonny Williams is back in full training after a groin injury but is not yet match fit.

Huddersfield striker Alan Lee begins a three-match ban. Jermaine Beckford and Sean Scannell could both play after recovering from hamstring problems but defender Paul Dixon is available after a ban.

Quotes

Simon Grayson

“The players are determined to put things right. We’ve had a blip, but given the nature of the division and the fact that we’ve had key players missing and been up against in-form opponents, that was always a possibility.

“We’re not making excuses, because we haven’t been playing well enough, and we’re up against another good side in Palace, but on the training ground, the tempo has been high and the spirit is good.

“The players know they need to do better, and there is huge motivation for them to perform in what should be a great match. We’re up against an attractive, high-flying side who in Wilfried Zaha, have the hottest property in the Championship, and it’s live on television.

“The last time we were on Sky (the 3-1 win at Blackpool in September), coincidentally against a team managed by Ian Holloway, we were excellent and claimed a great win, so why shouldn’t we do the same tomorrow?”

Jonathan Parr

"The manager has given me the permission to go forward often but to choose the right moment. "Whether Saturday's game is on television or not, I don't think the players are too concerned about it.

"It will be good to see Sean Scannell again - hopefully he won't do well in this game, but does well in the others! He's a good guy and I think he will get a good reception from everyone at Palace."
