KC Stadium, Tuesday 7.45pm
Palace's top scorer Glenn Murray misses out through suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season at Leeds on Saturday.
Aaron Wilbraham or Jermaine Easter will stand in, while defender Darcy Blake hopes to have recovered from illness to be added to the squad.
Hull stopper David Stockdale is likely to keep his place in goal ahead of Ben Amos. Former Palace loanee Paul McShane is a doubt due to a calf strain but Liam Rosenior and Alex Bruce are fit after shaking off knocks.
Roy Hodgson
“I could easily have bowled in here, tried to change things too quickly and ruined the spirit these players have. Luckily, I’ve inherited a group of lads who seem very receptive to what I want to do.
“All I ask of them is to make eight out of 10 good decisions when you have the ball – when to pass it, when to pop it off – because if you make only five out of 10 good decisions, you won’t reach the highest level as a player.
“But at the minute, the dish we’re making tastes lovely, like one of those puddings on MasterChef. It won’t take much for it burn or go soggy, but their focus is awesome. They are getting it just right.”
Seve Bruce
"We simply didn't perform against Burnley and when you don't do that you're going to struggle. We had as many as four players where it wasn't their day and it contributed to a poor performance, especially in the first half.
"You can look at all sorts of things but sometimes you just have to accept we have played badly. That's football, especially in the Championship, but the key is making sure you learn from it and move on. This is the chance for them to redeem themselves and put the record straight.
"I've got all sorts of competition across the squad, but I'm not going to shake it all up. That wouldn't be the right thing to do after what's been a pretty good run of form. There may be one or two changes but we will be demanding better from the group."
