Crystal Palace midfielder David Wright returns to the Eagles squad after his loan spell at Gillingham ended.

Jonathan Williams is unlikely to play due to a groin strain and defender Paddy McCarthy is still sidelined with the same injury.

Millwall midfielder Shane Lowry is back after sitting out the last match with a ban. Defender Karleigh Osborne has recovered from a calf injury, Jimmy Abdou returns after an ankle knock, while forward Andy Keogh will be given a late fitness test.

Quotes

Roy Hodgson

"I've played in lots and managed in a few of these games now, so it's about keeping your emotions at a controlled level. I think if we do that then we've got a very good chance of winning the game.

"In terms of how we play, I'm going to have to wait and see before making a decision, because I want to make sure we're in the game.

"There's no use me getting excited because we're playing Millwall that we've got to win the game in the fist ten minutes.

"I've got to make sure we compete with the best eleven competitors out there, because we've got enough quality to win it."

Lennie Lawrence

"We won't underestimate Millwall in any shape, fashion or form. They've had a couple of results in the last two games, it's a local derby and the minute we take our foot off the accelerator or lose focus, we will get beaten.

"But hopefully we can maintain the standards we've set, and if we do, we can win. But if we don't do it right, then we won't.

"It's going to be a hard game like Charlton was, so we'll let the players know they'll need to scrap because most of the players have played against Millwall by now.

"They've got some decent players and nothing is easy in this league. The boy Liam Trotter in midfield is a good attacking player, while James Henry on the right is useful, too.

"We'll do what we do and and we'll be prepared for what they do, but we'll be attempting to impose our style on them in the game."
