Selhurst Park, Saturday 12.30pm
Crystal Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni dislocated a finger against Reading last Saturday so misses the final game of the season. Backup stopper Lewis Price will step in between the posts for the Eagles.
Centre-back Paul McShane is sidelined with a hamstring injury. Midfielders Jonathan Williams, David Wright (both hamstring), Kagisho Dikgacoi (thigh) and Mile Jedinak (groin) are also out.
Youngsters Matt Parsons, Kyle De Silva, Antonio Pedroza, Stuart O'Keefe and Kwesi Appiah are likely to feature.
Cardiff midfielder Don Cowie is back from a calf strain, while Rudy Gestede could return from a calf injury. Winger Craig Conway is still out with ankle ligament damage.
Roy Hodgson
"There is no unfinished business with Cardiff as we came out of the cup semi final with a lot of credibility. It got good exposure for the club and was good experience for the players and this is a good game for us to end the season on.
"I am looking forward to it as I have been very pleased in recent weeks. I understand the results have not been the way they were for the first three or four months but there is a plan.
"I am looking at lots of young players and sometimes the results are not quite going for us but Southampton was a good game for us and we played very well at Reading.
"In a strange way I am pleased as we have got a lot of youngsters playing and come Saturday there will be a lot of youngsters again."
Malky Mackay
"It's good having momentum going into the last games of the season and we've hit a good patch of form at the right time. We'll keep rolling on and for the last game, whatever it means in terms of our aspirations, we don't have too many bodies to rest.
"We have three of our players injured right now, so that being the case it'll be a similar squad going to Crystal Palace.
"We'll see how Don [Cowie] and Rudy [Gestede] are in midweek and give them every chance to be ready, and hopefully we'll have a couple of bodies back for the trip to Selhurst Park, which would certainly help."
