Sean Scannell headed a stoppage-time winner to give Crystal Palace a 1-0 victory over Barnsley.
Scannell headed home Kagisho Dikgacoi's deep cross in the second minute of time added on as the Eagles claimed a win they barely deserved.
In a dire first half, Palace defender Paddy McCarthy and Barnsley striker Craig Davies both had long-range shots miss the target.
Scannell and Barnsley's on-loan striker Frank Nouble also had efforts to try and break the deadlock before Eagles stopper Julian Speroni had his hands warmed with a 30-yard drive from Matty Done.
The Tykes finished the half on top with Speroni holding Andy Gray's header and Done rifling wide of the post.
After the break, Scannell and Mile Jedinak tried their luck on goal before Palace manager Dougie Freedman threw on Jonathan Williams and Jermaine Easter for Darren Ambrose and Glenn Murray to try and galvanise his side with half an hour to go.
Nathan Doyle and Davies both blasted strikes off target as the match petered out, heading for a stalemate.
But in the 92nd minute Scannell grabbed the winner to give Palace the win which leaves them six points off the play-offs.
