Selhurst Park, Saturday 3.00pm
The Eagles may include loanee Chris Martin in the starting line up, to partner Glenn Murray up front.
Jon Williams is still sidelined following a broken leg, while Alex Marrow (ankle) and full-back Lee Hills (knee) also remain out.
Millwall's loan signings from Aston Villa, Nathan Baker and Shane Lowry, could make their debuts.
Steve Mildenhall continues in goal in the absence of David Forde (thigh), and Josh McQuoid (thigh) faces a late test.
Roy Hodgson
"I must confess it is a match I always look forward to.
"It is important to remember there are only three points on offer but it means a lot to the supporters so there should be a good atmosphere at the ground on Saturday.
"All of my squad understand it is a derby but we have to be professional and not let the occasion change anything we'd normally do.
"If we can stay focussed then I think we could be looking at getting a very good result from the afternoon."
Palace captain Paddy McCarthy: "This is a massive game for us and I couldn't be more confident," said McCarthy. "It is a derby game and there is always a bit of extra spice when we play Millwall.
"I know most of our fans think our biggest rivals are Brighton but I'm sure all of them know at least one Millwall fan at work and will be pretty pleased if we can match the performance and result we got at the Amex when we went down to the south coast."
"They are a pretty physical team and you have to earn the right to play in local derbies but from what I've seen in training this week the lads are desperate to get out there," he added.
Kenny Jackett
"A local derby will be a fantastic atmosphere and perhaps its just what we need at the moment,"
"It's going to be a tough afternoon but we'll go there determined to get a result."
"They've had a good season. They've had some good young players come through which seem to have made the difference. "We've sold our allocation so it will make it a good atmosphere at Selhurst Park.
