Team news

Returning from the international break the only noticeable absentee will be Jon Williams who suffered a broken leg in the Under 21 Wales match against Armenia.

Chris Martin, a recent loan signing from Premier League Norwich City goes straight into the squad and could partner Glenn Murray up front.

Leicester welcome back Nigel Pearson as their manager after the departure of Sven-Goran Eriksson. Pearson won the League One title in a previous spell at Leicester between 2008 and 2010.

Quotes

Nigel Pearson

He said: "People have a clean slate and the onus is very much on the players to be picked for the side.

"There are players that will know me and know what to expect, but those that don't will perhaps be unsure what to expect.

"What they need to be assured of is that they will be treated fairly and, if they perform well enough, they will retain their places.

"We'll give them every opportunity because this game is about players, not managers. My job is to facilitate success on the pitch."
