Turf Moor, Saturday 3.00pm
Goalkeeper Julian Speroni faces a late fitness after injuring his groin in last Saturday's 3-3 draw against Reading. He should be fine but if not, Lewis Price will step in for his Eagles debut. Midfielder Alex Marrow has shaken off an ankle injury and goes into the squad.
Burnley's Steven Thompson is out after undergoing groin surgery. Martin Paterson is sidelined with a thigh injury and Wes Fletcher has an ankle knock.
Roy Hodgson
"When we last played Burnley at home, we deserved more than a 0-0 draw, and the same could be said at Cardiff. But let's not look backwards. I'm not one to do that - I like to look forwards. Our away performances have been decent of late and I hope we can deliver a good one at Turf Moor on Saturday.
"It was nice to see Jermaine Easter get off the mark against Reading, although I always knew he would score goals. He hasn't had as much opportunity as he'd like but I have had to play a different formation in the last few weeks and the strikers have had to wait for their chances.
"It has been a case of different players for different games. Sometimes we have gone with one striker but all the strikers have confidence that I will give them time on the pitch. I know they all have goals in them.
"Further back down the field, we have good news as Alex Marrow and Julian Speroni will both be fit to play Burnley tomorrow. Julian hasn't trained all week as he has been resting a groin injury but I expect to have him available, and Alex has recovered from the ankle injury that kept him out for the last couple of weeks."
Burnley first team coach Stuart Gray
"When Kit Symons was named caretaker at Palace, he asked me to join him on the coaching staff, and I worked with Dougie then. He was a very popular figure with the supporters, a good goalscorer and fully-committed to Crystal Palace.
"I’m pleased he’s been given the opportunity in management, and I look forward to having a beer with him after the game, but hopefully after we’ve got the result we want.
"He was quite an introvert, a deep thinker on the game. But when players get to 31/32, they start thinking about life after football, and he’s done his homework and had a grounding with George Burley.
"I never had an inkling he’d go into management when I was there, he just wanted to play, but it’s a popular decision. And he’s done well, he’s got them out of the bottom three and got them playing.
"He gave 100% as a player and the players are showing that same committment under him, so we can’t take Palace lightly. They’ve not travelled well though, and the first goal could be important."
