Team news

The postponed Boxing Day match against Norwich City has given Pablo Counago and Alex Marrow a couple of extra days to shake off knocks.

Counago is nursing a hamstring strain and Marrow has an ankle injury. Long term casualty Lee Hills (knee) still misses out.

Palace go into the match refreshed after the match on Saturday failed to go ahead while City will be smarting after a 4-1 defeat at Reading.

Bristol City's Jamie McAllister (calf), Liam Fontaine (ankle), Louis Carey (virus) are all sidelined.

Quotes

Keith Millen

"Crystal Palace have struggled so far this season. George Burley went in there and things have slowly settled down financially behind the scenes.

"They will be desperate to improve their league position and are sure to come here and make it difficult for us.

"They have a lot of pace in their team and some good players on their books still. However, it's a home game and we've won our last three so we'll be looking for that run to continue."
