Palace manager George Burley should be boosted by the return of star man Darren Ambrose after he missed last weekend's draw against Hull City with a dead leg.

Striker Calvin Andrew - recalled from his loan stint at Millwall - replaces James Vaughan in the squad after the Everton striker returned to his parent club.

Wilfried Zaha is a doubt after aggravating an existing ankle injury against Hull. Alex Marrow is sidelined with an ankle injury, while Lee Hills is still out with a knee problem.

On-loan left-back Julian Bennett cannot play under the terms of his agreement with Forest, while fellow loanee Anthony Gardner is available after sitting out last week's fixture with Hull for the same reason.

Paul McKenna (groin) and Dele Adebola (knee) will have checks on their fitness before the game.
