Selhurst Park, Tuesday 8.00pm
Midfield duo Darren Ambrose and Neil Danns are set to start again after playing up at Middlesbrough on Saturday. They both showed no adverse affects from their recent injuries.
Defenders Anthony Gardner (groin) and Julian Bennett plus keeper Lewis Price (both back) are out. Claude Davis returns to the squad after serving his four-match ban. Sean Scannell and Lee Hills (both knee) are still sidelined.
Watford may decide to rest winger Michael Bryan and start with another teenager Matthew Whichelowinstead. Marvin Sordell is in contention for a recall, but Don Cowie is still out with a knee injury.
Roy Hodgson
"Ambrose and Danns made a big difference to the side. They added a bit more experience and that was encouraging and we want to take that into tonight. It was a gamble playing both of them but they have come through fine."
