Team news

Danny Butterfield is likely to keep his place on the right of a front three, but manager Neil Warnock has offensive options in Stern John - back from Ipswich - and Calvin Andrew.

Johanes Ertl is doubtful of playing due to a muscle injury, while Paddy McCarthy is still sidelined after a shoulder operation.

Swansea full-back Angel Rangel faces a late fitness test on his injured ankle. Cedric van der Gun hopes to have recovered from his hamstring injury, but former Palace loan striker Craig Beattie (ankle) misses out.

Quotes

Roy Hodgson

"I’m enjoying it at the moment and the administrator has told me he has no intention of asking me or any of my staff to leave. The fans know they are in safe hands on the field and we have to keep that going while the administrator does his job.

"The 10 points is the biggest blow because deep down I quite fancied our chances in the play-offs. But don’t write us off yet, there’s a lot of points to play for, 19 games, and you never know in football."

Shefki Kuqi

"It's not nice to see what's happening at Palace right now. They have big problems. Things just aren't going right for them. I have friends at Palace so what's happening there makes me very sad. You don't want to see any club go into administration especially one of your old clubs.

"I really feel for the players. It must be a horrible situation to be in and I hope it gets sorted out soon. I'm just concentrating on the future. Palace is gone now.

"I've got nothing to prove at Swansea. People know what I can do. I'm at a very good club with big ambitions and I want to be a part of that. We're in a great position but there's still a long way to go. Hopefully I can help the team stay in the top six."
