Victor Moses

Victor Moses scored the winning goal in Crystal Palace's 1-0 victory away to Plymouth.

The teenage winger would have added a few pounds to his value with this strike before he inevitably departs the cash-strapped Eagles during the transfer window.

He started the match well, creating space in the edge of the Plymouth penalty box before firing over the bar.

And in the 17th minute, he put the Eagles in front by collecting Lee Hills' pass inside the box and chipping the ball over goalkeeper Romain Larrieu.

Darren Ambrose almost added another, but his shot was pushed over the bar by Larrieu in the home goal.

Larrieu had to be on his guard again, this time blocking a Moses header from Nathaniel Clyne's centre.

In the second half, Palace continued to dominate with Larrieu making saves from Johanes Ertl and young left-back Hills.

Ambrose blasted a free-kick over the bar and Plymouth's best chance came from Alan Judge who struck an effort just past the post.

The win moves Palace to within a point of the Championship play-offs.

Palace: Speroni, Clyne, Davis, Hill, Hills, Danns, Derry, Ertl, Ambrose (Butterfield 80), Moses (Andrew 67), Lee (N'Diaye 72).
