Paddy McCarthy is still missing with a shoulder injury but is closer to a return after sitting out the last three matches. It means Claude Davis and Jose Fonte will continue their partnership in defence.

Sean Scannell is out with a hamstring injury suffered while playing for the Republic of Ireland Under-21s side last weekend. Striker Calvin Andrew is short of match fitness after recovering from a cruciate injury.

Coventry goalkeeper Keiren Westwood is rated as 50/50 for the match due to a back problem with Dimi Konstantopoulos likely to remain in goal.
