Alassane N'Diaye
Crystal Palace shocked league leaders West Brom to record a 1-0 victory.
Frenchman Alassane N'Diaye scored in the second half to inflict the Baggies' first defeat of the campaign.
Palace midfielder Neil Danns had the first chance, firing a 25 yard shot just over the crossbar in the second minute.
Five minutes later, he tried his luck again then had a header from Danny Butterfield's cross saved by keeper Scott Carson.
Gonzalo Jara hit a tame effort at Julian Speroni, while Victor Moses had two attempted efforts on goal for the Eagles.
Just before the break, Darren Ambrose shot off target from 20 yards out and Danns had another long-range drive on goal.
Graham Dorrans almost gave Albion the lead before Speroni made a smart save to stop Luke Moore from close range on the hour mark.
Palace then took a deserved lead in the 63rd minute when Shelton Martis failed to clear a long ball in the box and N'Diaye reacted quickest to slot past Carson for his first senior goal.
Jonas Olsson wasted a brilliant chance to level for West Brom by heading another dangerous Dorrans corner inches over.
West Brom stepped up a gear in search of an equaliser with Roman Bednar nodding wide and Dorrans putting a shot over the bar.
Speroni then kept out Joe Mattock's strike as Palace defended in numbers for a valuable win.
