Crystal Palace held on with 10 men to claim a point in a 1-1 draw at Peterborough.
The Eagles had Paddy McCarthy sent off with 16 minutes to go for a second bookable offence following a spate of fouls on both Posh strikers.
Shaun Batt had given the hosts a first half lead only for Alan Lee to cancel it out with a bundled effort in the second period for his second of the season.
In a frantic opening, Peterborough created more chances without troubling Julian Speroni in the Palace goal.
Craig Mackail-Smith rifled in a low shot, while Neil Danns went closest to scoring for Palace with a volley over the bar.
Posh went in front after 53 minutes when Shaun Batt surged down the right, and with Clint Hill backing off, he let fly with a powerful shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the area.
Eleven minutes later, Palace were on terms with a scrappy goal. Darren Ambrose's corner was not cleared by the Posh defence and McCarthy headed back into the mix where Lee put the ball over the line off his ankle for his 100th career goal.
McCarthy was then dismissed for a second yellow in the 74th minute after referee Kevin Friend had warned him several times about fouling Mackail-Smith, but Palace held on for the point.
