Carrow Road, Tuesday 7.45pm

Team news

Club captain Shaun Derry faces a late fitness test after fighting off a virus which left him bed-ridden during Saturday's win over Bristol City.

Eagles manager Neil Warnock must decide whether to stick with 17-year-old Nathaniel Clyne at right-back or recall Matt Lawrence who is back after serving a one-match ban. Danny Butterfield is still out with his hamstring strain.

Paul Ifill is rated doubtful after picking a hamstring strain in the second half against Bristol.

Norwich defender Gary Doherty and Darel Russell sit the game out through suspension. Jon Otsemobor and Adam Drury could come in but Elliot Omozusi remains a doubt.

Quotes

Glenn Roeder

"They'll be full of confidence, especially after scoring four goals against a team as good as Bristol City," he said. "I've seen the goals that they scored and they were very good goals. I would think Neil Warnock, generally speaking, has been a little bit surprised with what has been at times their inconsistent form but they are a dangerous team.

"Neil did a great job with them last year, getting them all the way up to the play-offs where they lost at Bristol City and he will obviously be trying to do that again this year after a little bit of a slow start themselves. Similar to us, they've got to be more consistent but I think it's got the makings of a really good game."
