Team news

The Eagles have won their last three games in a row, while Arsenal have got just a point from their last two league outings.

The match will see the Premier League's two leading scorers Andy Johnson and Thierry Henry go head to head.

Defender Fitz Hall's knee problem has flared up again and he faces a late fitness test. Otherwise, Uruguayan Gonzalo Sorondo will take his place at centre-half.

Neil Shipperley and Nicola Ventola (both knee) are still recovering from injury, but striker Sandor Torghelle is back from suspension.

Arsene Wenger names an unchanged side from the midweek 1-1 draw against Panathinaikos in the Champions League.

Sol Campbell (Achilles), Gilberto Silva and Edu (calf) are still out injured. However, Jose Antonio Reyes could replace Robert Pires in midfield.

In the world of football, there are 3 words that send shivers down the spines of defenders, send a chill right to the bones of goalkeepers and make fans go dizzy at the thought. Managers quiver and everyone in general goes weak at the knees. The words? Va Va Voom.

Three words, immortalised by Thierry Henry, surely the most well known footballer on the planet behind only a certain David Beckham. There is no doubting it though, Henry is definately known more for his silky skills and sheer class than for his hairstyles.

Henry is surely the greatest footballer of this generation and has scored some absolutely sublime goals this season, including the backheel against our Clowntown neighbours and will almost certainly be a handful for our defence. Give him an inch and he'll take a mile. Lets hope Fitz Hall is able to start.

You could say that Thierry Henry has style superior to that of the gods and that would be an understatement. This style arrives at Selhurst Park on saturday and will be on display for all to see. Selhurst Park has never seen so much Va Va Voom.
