The Valley, Wednesday 8.00pm
Michael Hughes (hamstring), Andy Johnson (ankle) and Fitz Hall (knee) could be rested after picking up knocks in Palace's 3-0 win over West Brom on Saturday.
Mark Hudson and Gonzalo Sorondo will battle it out for Hall's place and Dowie could revert to a 4-4-2 formation with Sandor Torghelle and Dougie Freedman in attack.
Charlton defender Radostin Kishishev is doubtful after missing the last two games with a groin injury. Defender Mark Fish (knee) is also likely to be out but striker Francis Jeffers could return.

Danny Murphy
Francis Jeffers - 3 goals
Graham Stuart - 3 0
Hermann Hreidarsson
Former Liverpool Ace Danny Murphy, a summer acquisition for Alan Curbishley has been the key to their midfield this season and will continue to be.
The endless work that Murphy puts in, in midfield, resembles that of which John Harbin and Iain Dowie have installed into the palace squad.
He chases every ball, he keeps on going till there is no way he can carry on. The hard working ethic is something that Murphy prides himself on and against us he will be no different.
He has a great footballing brain and has the ability to shoot from upto 35 yards and produce a deadly shot.
Another player to worry about is Dennis Rommedahl. His ability is profound and could cause lots of problems.
