Team news

Andrew Johnson (calf) and Fitz Hall (foot) should both be fit for the match at the Reebok Stadium.

However, Nicola Ventola (knee) Danny Butterfield (hamstring) and Neil Shipperley (knee) are still not ready for a first-team return.

Bolton are sweating on the fitness of Jay-Jay Okocha (groin) and Kevin Nolan (ankle). Boss Sam Allardyce will make a late decision on whether to play Ricardo Gardner after coming back from international duty.

Palace manager Iain Dowie said: "Bolton is a big game for us. People have mentioned there are some difficult games for us in November including Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle, but they should not underestimate Bolton.

"That is our next tough game. They have a good, big squad and are going places and we have to match them."

What is there to say about this Nigerian wonder that hasnt already been said.

Surely one of Bolton's greatest ever signings, Jay Jay Okocha has established himself as the king of ball control in the premiership (with maybe the exception of Henry and our own AJ).

He has the ability to take the ball round an entire team using silky skills and his fantastic footballing brain.

He WILL be a handful but Bolton do tend to rely on him quite a bit so if we can keep him quiet then we just have to worry about Henrik Pedersen who is currently banging them in for fun.
