Palace v Sheffield Wednesday

Selhurst Park, Saturday 3.00pm

Nationwide Division One

Nationwide Division One

Team news

Once again Palace go into a game, as they have done so many times before this past season, with a depleated squad to choose from.

Dougie Freedman and Shaun Derry will both miss out through suspension with the pair starting three and a one-match bans respectively.

Tony Popovic is still out with a groin injury which he picked up while on international duty with Australia and to add to this, Kit Symons will also be missing as he is suffering with a hamstring injury.

Sheffield Wednesday boss Chris Turner was left disappointed this week after Portsmouth midfielder Carl Robinson decided not to stay on-loan with the Owls but instead join fellow relegation strugglers Wallsall.

Turner is now attempting to keep Michael Reddy on-loan for another month from Sunderland and if the deal is sealed, Reddy should be in the starting line-up against Palace.
