Bradford City v Palace

The Pulse Stadium, Saturday 3.00pm

Tommy Black

Tommy Black

Team news

Just as the injury crisis seemed to be improving Francis finds himself without Alex Kolinko for at least a month after the Latvian international strained his hamstring in the FA Cup 3rd round at Blackpool.

This means that recent signing Cedric Berthelin will make his debut in the starting line up and youngster Lance Cronin will be promoted to the subs bench.

Apart from the goalkeeping change Francis should name the same ten outfield players who beat Blackpool last weekend with in form Tommy Black hoping to advance on his nine goals in as many games.

Cash strapped Bradford’s fortune on the fieldhave not been able to make up for those off the field. They currently lie in 20th place with just 28 points from 26 games.

Having returned to full fitness following an ankle injury defender Robert Molenaar and should partner Mark Bower in central defence with veteran Peter Atherton moving into midfield.

Gray has won round his doubters at Valley Parade with some excellent displays this season. Whilst his record of 11 goals in 32 games doesn't put him up amongst the big guns, his Premiership experience with Leeds could proove vital in Bradford's survival hopes.
