Parking
Try the car park in Lower Clarence Road where the away coaches park.
There are a lot of spaces at County Hall, which is signposted on the way to the ground (on Martineau Lane to the left of the A146) and is only 10mins walk away from Carrow Road.
Nearest Station
Norwich - 10 minute walk away.
Go across the car park to the main road. Take a left along Riverside, with the river on the right. At the traffic lights, turn left into Carrow Road.
Check train times and tickets at The Trainline. For more information, call National Rail Enquiries on 08457 48 49 50.
There are burger vans around the ground. Near the station on Thorpe Road is a pizza and fish & chips restaurant; there's a snack bar by the river, opposite the station. Meals are served in the Morrisons supermarket right by the ground and opposite the station is a KFC.
The town is not far away and has the usual variety of takeaways and restaurants. There's Adlard's in Upper St Giles Street and the complex including Boswell's jazz reataurant and Pizza One/Pancakes Two in Tombland.
The Compleat Angler right by the station; The Coach and Horses in Thorpe Road; The Jubilee in St Leonard's Road; Kingsway on King Street - just across the river from the ground and The Ferry Boat on Kings Street - across the river from Morrisons.
There's a leisure complex not far from the ground called the Riverside. Here there are lots of pubs - including a Wetherspoon's - and restaurants.
Carrow Road is a smart ground. Behind each goal are two-tiered stands with green and yellow seating and executive boxes, while along the pitch is a smaller, single-tiered smart main stand. All built within the last 10 years.
Opposite this is a brand new single-tier 8,000-seat stand - the Jarrold South Stand - built during the 2003-04 season.
It's good news because this is where Palace fans will be seated and the facilities and views are excellent. The away allocation is 2,500 in the far end of the stand.
Kick it off, throw it in, have a little scrimmage,
Keep it low, splendid rush, bravo, win or die,
On the ball, city!
Never mind the danger,
Steady on, now's your chance,
Hurrah! we've scored a goal. City!, City!
They can't read and they can't wroite,
But that don't really matter,
Cos all they do in Narwich is droive a ferkin' tractor!
