By Car

Take the M3 then the A33 into Southampton. Continue on the A33 until you reach the junction with the A3024 Northam Road and turn left onto this road towards Northam. Then turn right onto the B3038, Britannia Road for the stadium.

Parking
As there are restrictions around the ground, car parks in the city centre - about 20 minute walk away - is where most people park up. But be warned, you can expect heavy congestion in getting out afterwards.

The best place to park though, is probably around the Marina area, which is 10 minutes from the stadium - just keep on the A3024 and then the M271/M27. This area avoids the city centre gridlock.

There's street parking in Woolston (15min walk away), on the A3025 from junction 8 of the M27.

Or you may want to take advantage of the park and ride scheme off junction 8 of the M27.

By Train

Nearest Station
Southampton - a 30-minute walk away.
A shuttle bus operates from the Blechynden Terrace bus stop at the station to the ground.

Check train times and tickets at The Trainline. For more information, call National Rail Enquiries on 08457 48 49 50.

Where to Eat?

There are loads of delicious pies, pasties and hot dogs inside the stadium.

Where to Drink?

The Prince of Wales, The Bevois Castle, The Station, a Wetherspoons and The Standing Order are worth a visit in the city centre, which is about 20 mins walk away. Beer is served inside the stadium.

What's their ground like?

Southampton moved to the impressive St Mary's Stadium, opened in August 2001. Although very nice, it does look like very similar to Middlesbrough, Derby and Sunderland's new stadiums!

But unlike the new stadiums above, it is fully enclosed with one tier going all the way round and a row of executive boxes lining one side.

Palace fans will be housed in the corner of the Northam Stand behind one of the goals. Allocation here is 3,200 and as you can imagine, the view, leg room and facilities are top notch.

What do they sing?

Oh when the Saints, Go Marching In
Oh when the Saints go marching in
I want to be in that number
Oh when the Saints go marching in...

Songs to sing back

We love you Pompey, we do!

Who do they hate?

Portsmouth
