Once again the Palace away boys did the club proud with a terrific turnout at Carrow Road.

Normally a quiet place, Palace turned the place into a cauldron of noise (at least in our stand) and sang thier hearts out for the lads! A point was well merited but it so easily could have been all 3.

Pollock ran the midfield again and showed that he could well be the driving force behind Palace this season and as early as 15 minutes into the game let the Norwich midfield know he was there.

Although the possession was in this game was failry equal - Norwich did not force Taylor into having to make a save from a serious chance. Cottee and Roberts blasting over or wide from distance. Palace have shown that they can defend now, but are very lightweight up front.

Morrison and Kitson, who in his first game did as well as could be expected, having chances a plenty but were not able to find the decisive chance which would have taken the points... Kitson had three which really we would have expected him to put at least one away. I hope he improves as I dont think ANY amount of money is worth it if that is the best we are going to get. I pray it is not.

The shining lights in the Palace team were once again Julian Gray and Tommy Black in midfield. Black particularly ran the show with dangerous runs and some dangerous crosses. Gray also used his possession wisely. Dean Austin had another good game, getting forward and putting in dangerous crosses.

Right at the death Palace had two header opportunites from Leon McKenzie - but both went wide. One of the defining moments was when Pollock clattered Adrian Forbes late on in the game right in front of where we were situated. Hard but fair - Pollock is always giving 110%...

...unlike the fans who put in 200% with some great chants... In the Premiership - Ipswich! and You can't do the Bouncy in your seat! were my two personal favourites...

Unfortunately Norwich did not help themselves in that department but did give us Palace fans one of the best half time giggles I think we have ever had!

Canary Cash Draw at half-time was the medium for this hilarity and we were treated to the typical country stereotype of THICK INBRED FARMERS....... Question - How far is Carrow Road from Selhurst Park (in miles) It's less than 270 but more than 250 Answers 246, 230 - given after (!) the above clue!!!!!!

Their fans - like their team proving that they are absolutley useless at home... and showed why the have yet to score this season. Palace by contrast have now had 2 clean sheets.....so we do have something to shout about!

Palace boss Alan Smith said: "We've come a long way since my first match in charge when we lost 3-1 at Wycombe. At least we look like a good, solid, professional team now and when we get a bit more experienced we might go on and win games like that.

"Norwich didn't have a shot on target for the entire match but we didn't create that much either and I suppose a goalless draw was a fair enough result in the end."
