Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Football has had many changes over the past 25 years. All completely correct, but what's the answer? As you said VAR has been a farse from day 1. FFP hasn't made the impact I suggest they expected. Man C charged with 115 FFP breaches in Feb, but trial not due to start until next season. Chelsea have been sidestepping with player contract lengths.

I agree, always been a Parish fan, saving the club, etc but the other 3 that put their money in have sold out, the 25% voting each is stalemate, 3 votes needed, will only happen if H&B or a supporter of them buys the 45% shares, C-T and E13 can we get the funds together I have been looking in the old biscuit tin buddy and its not looking good . i could prob muster up enough for 10 percent but id want and equal vote on all transactions while getting a handson wage for myself . you could always take a loan out on that Villa/castle and yacht you own in Lanzarote, between you eagleman and my biscuit tin we just might do it . we could call it Lantruck holding investing group Eagleman can be a silent partner.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Football has had many changes over the past 25 years. All the money is foreign. A Super League is inevitable probably funded by Arab cash. I wasn’t against the original proposal as it solves most of the points raised here. Owners lose out in the short term which was why Parish was so anti it.

In all honesty I have had enough of leaving the ground in a hissy fit, 'Looking forward' to the long journey back to the south coast. Edited by Willo (15 Jan 2024 10.56am) Thats a 5-0 nailed on then

Steve Parish is a pretty smooth operator. When he voted against transfers between clubs owned by the same person or entity, he knew what he was doing and the impact on Textor. I suspect when he persuaded Textor to join he believed Palace would be his number one priority. Instead he is more interested in Lyon or Botafuego and using Palace to feed into them. He wanted rid of Textor and voted accordingly. The question is whether he has agreed something with Harris and Blitzer that allows him to stay on if they buy out Textor. Time will tell.

As I'm sure I have already posted if this was anything other than a football club Parish would have been sacked for gross misconduct for going against the wishes of the club's largest shareholder

Even though Parish did vote against it , it made no differaance to the out come of the result , they didnt gain the 14 votes needed for the ban . ( i think ) [Link]

The role of directors is to run the company on behalf of the shareholders and in this case Textor is the largest shareholder with 45% of the equity. As Parish is well aware Textor isn't resident in the UK and would probably be unaware of the Premier League proposals so Parish would be duty bound to inform him to discuss which way the club should vote
