I am pleased to be part of the new Crystal Palace Independent Supporters Association. We are a group of 6 long term Palace fans who want to ensure that all Palace fans have access to a new and independent organisation that ensures our voices are heard and our collective interests fully represented to the Club and wider football organisations and bodies.

We have already been working behind the scenes and the cub have agreed to meet with us monthly.

Given that joining CPISA is free, we hope Palace fans will agree there’s nothing to lose and take the opportunity to join our mailing list. Please help us to spread the word. A copy of our launch statement is attached

Hi CPISA,

Do you know what caused the Crystal Palace Supporters Trust to close down?

The reason i ask is because there are minutes from Oct 2023 on the Crystal Palace Supporters trust website. Can you clear this misunderstanding up for me please?

Hi. I wasn’t involved with the Trust but I understand that the number of people involved in running it dwindled and in the end they couldn’t continue. As I say I wasn’t involved but I believe a letter was sent to members a few months ago to let them know.

Great, can you post the link to that letter here please?

I'll be honest, i'm skeptical your for real and want to confirm this that i'm wrong as you've only joined holmesdale yesterday and the Acronym is a little unfortunate to say the least.

I hope i'm wrong.

The OP is a long standing member and I have actually met him, not seeing a problem here. I have registered to join so we shall see

It's not an acronym. It's an initialism.
It does have PIS in the middle, which is a bit unfortunate.

Do we know the real names of the people running this thing and their online profiles outside of HOL?

Hi
If you want info about the Trust it is probably better to go on their website or contact them as we don’t represent them. The open letter I found was on the BBS on P5 of the General Palace Discussion Forum, 5 threads up from the bottom.

The launch statement I attached a few posts back has info in it including a link to our website and mailing list.

CPISA stands for Crystal Palace Independent Supporters Association. We are currently a committee of 6 long term Palace fans. As we said in our launch statement we will be having an AGM in the near future and will be looking to significantly increase this number.

I have been going to Palace matches since 1975 and a season ticket holder for over 30 years. I have been on BBS since 2017 as Hazbaz and am active on Twitter as @sandyweller7. As an aside my husband and I got married on a Friday so we could go the the Huddersfield away game on the Saturday.

As rob1861 says Peter (Pierre) has been on here since 2013 and I joined yesterday as I am dealing with our website and mailing list so I could add to his post and attach our launch statement.

I'm just working on the photos and bios of the committee members to add to our website. I'm sure you’ll recognise some, if not all, of the names if you are active in other Palace places. We are volunteering our time to get this Association off the ground because we believe that Palace fans deserve a strong, inclusive, independent organisation to represent our collective voice.

Our email address is info@cpisa.co.uk. We have already been talking to the club about away tickets and have agreed to meet with them monthly.

The best way to get involved is to subscribe to our MailChimp mailing list here [Link] we will be consulting via this.

I hope this reassures you that we are genuine and have the best interests of Palace fans at heart.

Palace Supporters' Trust still seems to be going and having regular meetings with the Club.

The last meeting with the club was only a few days back, 10th October 23.

Seems a lot of groups now want a voice with the Club, maybe diluting any message - also remember the Club have launched the FAB (Fan Advisory Board) and will want a lot of communication to be delivered by this forum
