Why would she think Labour which is pro migration will do a better job. Very odd defection.

Are they?

And are the Tories genuinely anti immigration? If they were, genuinely, would they not have done something about it in the decade and a half they have been in power?

Clearly not.

And neither are Labour.

Both main parties leaderships care nothing about the state of British life.

Probably because she's been alive for the last 13 years - your post seems to imply that the Tories are the anti-migration party... how's that been going?
Can you point to some 'pro-migration' policies or rhetoric from this Labour party?

That people still give any credit to these sort of outdated tropes, which fly in the face of the reality of the last decade, still manages to surprise me.

Elphicke seems to have previous for trying to jump on a bandwagon; [Link] - these people have no core principles, no set politics and their sole concern is holding onto power - this type of fluid, move with the wind politician is a huge part of why our political class as a whole is such a shambles.

On that we can agree.

Looks like a self serving act to me.

The 'anti immigration' party would be Reform, but she probably thinks she has a better chance of keeping her job as a Labour MP.

Well she is much nearer to the problem than most, perhaps the Tory Incompetence has reached new levels.

Of course it is.

She’s not running at the next GE so clearly playing the long game - fast forward 5 years and I’m confident she’ll find a nice cosy Labour seat somewhere.

Right wing politics has totally failed - and it's so out of date.

The Conservatives are getting the kicking they deserve. The scnadal of privatised water was raised in PMQ.

It's the same whichever party is in power, the private companies pay out huge dividends but the enormous amount of investment needed to try an modernise an antiquated system cannot be found from taxation.

The pollution going in now is a disgrace

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

I live in Deal, I have received this very morning a circular from Natalie Elphicke praising Rishi Sinaak for the great job he’s doing for the country saying the long term plan is working. Obviously printed and put together before her decision to defect to Labour

The timing is more than embarrassing for her. So I’ll put that straight in the recycling bin then shall I Natalie ?
