England defeated Yugoslavia 1-0 in the quarter-finals of the U-17s championship with Palace starlet Wayne Routledge once again making an impact.
He almost created a second goal for England with a pinpoint cross and then nearly added to England's tally with a superb curling right foot shot which hit the angle between post and crossbar.
England also progressed with a clean sheet thanks to some sound defending from Palace's Gary Borrowdale.
The under-17s will have to await the result of Sunday's third quarter-final before knowing whether they will face Switzerland or Poland in the semi-final on May 7.
