Dougie Freedman could be on his way from Selhurst after being dropped from the squad against Sheffield United, following a training ground bust-up with Trevor Francis.
According to Planetfootball.com, Freedman had a fierce row with Francis at the club's Beckenham grounds last week.
But after the United game, Francis claimed the Scottish international missed the match becuase of a bout of 'flu.
He said: "Dougie Freedman has been unwell since Wednesday and is still weak so we had to leave him out."
Palace fans will be furious with Francis if Freedman is sold. He has scored 19 goals this season and has formed a formidable partnership with Clinton Morrison, something not seen since the days of Wright and Bright.
New signing Ade Akinbiyi has failed to make any impact and Palace have scored once in the three games he has played, gaining just a point.
