We round up the week's Crystal Palace transfer rumours and gossip.
Palace are in talks over a deal to sign Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne. The 28-year old is open to a return to his former club having lost his place in the Reds team and spent the second half of last season on loan at Bournemouth. (Daily Mail)
Arsenal have suggested a new-and-improved £55m offer for Wilfried Zaha, with £10m dependent on clauses, plus winger Reiss Nelson on loan. Right back Carl Jenkinson has also been suggested as a makeweight in the deal. (Independent)
Chelsea have turned down a £20m offer for England U20 defender Reece James from Palace. The 19-year-old, who is recovering from knee surgery, had an impressive season on loan at Wigan last term. (Metro)
Atalanta defender Timothy Castagne remains a top target for the Eagles. Palace have offered €21m for the Belgian, but the full back could stay as he is in discussions about a contract extension with his club. (La Gazzetta Dello Sport)
Everton and Palace are in the mix to land €15m-rated Lille centre back Adama Soumaoro. A transfer to Monaco has hit a stumbling block due to financial reasons which has alerted the Premier League sides. (RMC Sport)
Palace are also weighing up a move for Chile international Paulo Diaz to fill the right-back position. The 24-year-old plays for Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli and would cost in the region of £5m. (Daily Star)
